RETURN & REFUND POLICY

THE PAINTING HERMIT Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds on purchases made at www.thepaintinghermit.com as well as The Painting Hermit storefront.

1. Return or Exchange Window:

I accept returns or exchanges for items within 30 days of the original purchase date (in store). For online purchases, the return window is calculated from the delivery date which is shown on your tracking number from the shipment.

2. Condition of Items:

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. 

If an item is defective or damaged, send photos of the issue asap to the email below to initiate a refund. I will go on a case by case basis to see if a return is even necessary on a damaged item.

3. How to Initiate a Return/Refund:

To initiate a return, please contact me at paintinghermit@gmail.com. You will need to provide your order number and the reason for the return. Returns shipped without authorization may not be accepted. 

4. Shipping Costs:

For returns due to reasons other than defects or damage, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. 

5. Processing Time:

Once I receive your returned item, please allow 5 business days for processing. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. 

6. Exceptions:

Any custom made canvas or custom made gift is not eligible for return. However, if there is an issue with a custom item, you have 30 days to request a free remake.
