A ready-mixed painting ground, Liquitex Acrylic Gessos prime surfaces and add the right level of tooth for optimum color stability, adhesion, and absorbency. Apply to stiffen canvas and provide an archival base to a wide variety of supports and surfaces, including canvas, paper, and wood.

Suitable for use with a variety of mediums, including graphite, pencil, charcoal, acrylic and oil paints and mediums, and chalk and oil pastels.

Black – Primes surfaces while adding an optimal level of texture and provides a matte Black, opaque base that eliminates surface color.
